Management Development – we have designed and delivered in-house programmes for many organisations . We offer interventions ranging from 2 day courses for first time managers covering the basics of performance management to residential programmes allowing more senior managers to reflect on their leadership skills. A typical format is to provide delivery on a modular basis with space between sessions to allow participants to put what they have learned into practice.

One to One Performance Coaching: we offer qualified coaches to provide confidential support for managers and individuals to help when, for example, they are facing particular performance issues, making changes or having to make challenging decisions.

Coaching can be provided face to face or by telephone, and is a cost-effective method to develop people. Our approach is to adopt a non-directive style – aiming to draw solutions from clients own experiences, offering advice only when appropriate.

We usually suggest an initial ‘intake’ session with clients, to agree how coaching will work best for them, and also to ensure that there is the necessary degree of rapport between coach and client essential for an effective working relationship.

We will often use a variety of psychometric instruments, for example 360 degree feedback or the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, to aid coaching interventions by helping clients to increase their understanding of themselves and their interactions with others.

Team Building Events: We have designed and delivered many successful team-building events ranging from supporting a senior team to work more effectively together to helping two teams come together following internal re-structuring. We will always work with clients to agree what the issues are that have led them to consider an event, what needs to be different after the event, and what sessions will best meet those needs.

We customise an event for you and typical sessions could include using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator as an effective tool to aid mutual understanding and simulations to bring out issues.
